Their leadership spans microgrid innovation, energy storage, policy, and local engagement—guiding Mana Pacific’s mission to deliver resilient, community-led energy solutions across island nations.
Chair
Hon. Katherine Hammack is a nationally recognized energy leader and former Assistant Secretary of the Army under President Obama. She pioneered the Army’s Net Zero and Office of Energy Initiatives programs and brings decades of expertise in sustainability, resilience, and high-performance building standards.
Benefit Director
Dr. Christine Gayagas is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and Hawai‘i-based strategist with deep experience in Indo-Pacific security, renewable energy, and Native Hawaiian advocacy. She brings mission-driven leadership to Mana Pacific’s board, blending global perspective with strong local roots.
Director
Geoff Brown is a clean energy executive and former CEO of Powin, where he led its growth into one of the world’s top battery integrators. With deep ties to the Pacific, he brings two decades of global storage and microgrid experience to Mana Pacific’s mission.
Director & Strategic Advisor
Joe Reed is the former CEO of Mana Pacific, and a former U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and clean energy executive with 35+ years of leadership across government, tech, and renewables. He’s led global operations, taught at West Point, and advanced energy innovation at Canadian Solar.
